Join the Party!
We are inviting all children in 4K-6th grade, to be a part of the excitement at
our Vacation Bible School, BEACH PARTY: SURFIN’ THROUGH THE
SCRITURES!
At this Beach Party, your children will become surfers riding the wave of God’s
love. The Bible stories presented at the Scripture Scene encourage your
children to develop Beach BeAttitudes: Be Obedient, Be Kind, Be Forgiving, Be
Bold, and Believe.
Your children will extend their learning through every activity: making their
own special memories in Beachcomber Crafts, singing fun tunes at Sound
Waves, experiencing science activities at the Surf ‘n’ Sand Science Lab,
participating in recreational activities at Rockin’ Rec and enjoying tasty snacks
at the Snack Shack!
So come enjoy the surf and sand at Main Street’s VBS on Monday, July 21-
Thursday, July 24 from 9:30am until 11:30am. Registration forms for our
beach party are on the round table in Asbury Hall. Make sure to invite your
friends…..Happy Surfing!
Children’s Summer Activities
The Young Methodist Youth (1st through 6th grade) will meet from 5:00pm
until 6:00pm on Sunday afternoons. Our time together will consist of an age
appropriate devotion, activity and snack. Parents…please make an effort to
bring your young person and allow them to bring a friend. Kids love to hang out
with their friends and we love to share time with them!
Wednesday, July 9--Bounce Blast at the new indoor bounce and play center in
Dillon, for children in 2K through 6th grade. Parents must accompany children
younger than 5 years of age. The cost is $5.00 per child. We will meet at the
church at 5:00pm for a sandwich supper and leave around 5:30pm for Let’s Get
Bouncin!
Monday, July 21--Thursday, July 24 from 9:30am until 11:30am.: VBS @
Main Street. Join us for a Beach Party and Surf through the Scriptures!
Saturday, July 26--Myrtle Waves Water Park
Cost: Age 7-54 - $28.00 + tax, Age 3-6 and 55 and up - $20.00 + tax
Price includes parking, all day water rides, life jacket, inner tubes and unlimited
soft drinks. Showers and changing facilities are also provided.
