Music Notes
Dear Church Family,

The month of July is arriving, and summer vacation is in full swing.  The choirs
are enjoying a well deserved break from rehearsals, but the music is continuing
to sound.

A high point in Main Street’s Music Ministry came with The Children’s Music
Camp and the presentation of Allen Pote’s Malice In The Palace: The Story Of
Queen Esther on Friday, June 20.  Special thanks to Beth Rouse and all of the
volunteers who helped to make this presentation possible.  With between 35 and
40 participants in this program, the church is looking forward to future
endeavors.

Mike, Beth, and I enjoyed attending Music Week at Lake Junaluska June 23-
27.   The three of us were able to attend reading sessions, seminars, and
workshops as well as being able to sing in the adult choir.   I am looking forward
to resuming rehearsals in August and September.  Please watch your bulletins
and future newsletters for details.

July also promises to have some beautiful musical moments.   As always it is a
pleasure to be a part of Main Street’s Music Ministry.  Thank you for your
continued support.

In His Service,
Robin
